Established in 1953, Folkestone Saints Basketball Club is the oldest basketball club in Kent with a senior squad that has been one of the leading teams in the South East for many years.

The 2008/9 season is the first to be run under the auspices of the new 'Folkestone Basketball Club' organisation, which now incorporates the two men's teams in Division 1 of the East Kent League ('Saints' and 'Sinners'), a junior team in the Under-14 Central Venue League and the Folkestone Flames Ladies Team.

Men's training sessions and matches are held at the Folkestone Sports Centre, Radnor Park Avenue, Folkestone and ladies play at the Pent Valley Leisure Centre, Tile Kiln Lane, Cheriton. New club members (players, beginners or officials) are always welcome.

Training Times

Seniors: Wednesdays 8pm - 10pm

Ladies: Wednesdays 8pm - 9pm
Juniors (under 12): Saturdays 3pm - 6pm (joint session).

Juniors (12-18): Saturdays 3pm - 6pm (joint session).

Charges

Senior Membership: £46 per year

Junior Membership: £30 per year (includes a Leisure Passport to Folkestone Sports Centre and £1 discount on Saturday training, as well as discount on other activities)

Senior Training/Games: £4.00

Junior Training/Games: £3.00 (Sun/Wed)

Saturday Training (Juniors): £1.65 (club-members)

Saturday Training (Juniors): £2.65 (non-members)
